The World of Karil

I've gotten several emails since my last post asking me to review their sites, and I chose the best one to review next, not to say that the others aren't good. The site I decided was the best was The World of Karil, a site with a unique storyline that I found fascinating.

Once upon a time, in a strange and faraway land, a devastating war wreaked havoc upon the inhabitants of a mythical world. Only, the world wasn't mythical; the world of Karil was, and is to this day, a real world. Outside of the realm that mere mortals know in their universe, we, the citizens of Karil, exist. -excerpt from The World of Karil's plot.

This site shows much promise, and everything about it is solid, all it needs are more active members. That's pretty much the one flaw I could find, which definitely makes this site worth checking out.

Now without farther adieu, my ratings::

  1. Design - 10/10 Usually I rave about things that have a lot of colors that mesh well, or that use a unique code base. This site shows a color scheme that really only features black and white, and it works well. There's something to be said about simplicity that I don't think I'll spotlight on nearly enough.
  2. Rules - 10/10 The rules are straightforward and touch on things a lot of people usually forget to add ((Such as time-lining one's threads)).
  3. Plot - 10/10 Unique. I don't usually like unique roleplays because they usually aren't detailed enough, this one has a lot of work put into it and it really shows.
  4. Members - 9/10 Not a lot, but the few that I observed ((yes, I know how creepy that sounds)) seemed close-knit which really keeps sites of this caliber together.
  5. Overall -9.8/10 This site is amazing. I really believe that they need as much publicity as they can get, but they don't really need a plug from me. Their site speaks for itself::
